Ten tips for making the most of LateMeetings.com

1. Update your availability for meeting space at least once per week.

2. Set prices for your daily delegate rate at the lowest possible rate on dates in the next three months when you are least busy. This will then display on the first results page of the site where lowest price is always displayed first - the lower the rate, the higher the venue appears in the initial search result.

3. Use the site to set meeting rates to get the best yield - for example, review your busiest days for meetings and then set prices either side of these days at much keener rates to encourage switch-selling of dates.

4. Select options for discounts that suit your local market need - e.g. if you need more room hire business, set room hire rates at a bigger discount than the day delegate rate - and 'vice versa' according to your needs - same principle applies to 24-hour rates if you need more residential conferences.

5. Set special monthly 'deals' in advance - you can update the site for a 'rolling' year ahead - so for example, if you intend offering a 'winter special' in November, enter this rate now and it will automatically appear when November appears on the customer side.

6. Tell us about your offers - we operate www.meetingsnews.co.uk which highlights news and information and is one of our marketing tools - if you send an email to alert us to the offer it can be planned into the newsletter which is distributed to 10,000 buyers and 1000 agents monthly. Tell us too about your refurbishments, new services, special events and other news.

7. Include LateMeetings.com availability on your own website - we can supply code that allows access to the availability and pricing section of the site allowing you to have your own availability and bookability for meetings - just like bedrooms. There is no charge for setting this up.

8. Tell your customers about LateMeetings.com - you will be offering them an additional service and if they are in a hurry to find availability and book it will be easier to book your venue than an alternative that is not using the instant 'availability and bookability'.

9. Include LateMeetings.com in your email sign-offs as a 'click-through' - this will can be set up to take them straight to your availability and bookability section even if they do not look at your website. Please ask how to set this up.

10. Increase your presence with banner ads, featured venue spot and so on - prices are available, please ask - and join our on-line and off-line marketing initiatives to highlight your venue, e.g. IMEX-Frankfurt featured venues.
